SALES ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a new part-time team member! If you are a people person who enjoys teaching, creating, and the small business lifestyle, this role might be the perfect match for you!

The Details:

This position is around 12-15 hrs/week, with weekend and evening hours required. Responsibilities include working with customers, leading workshops, making & labeling candles, inventorying, order fulfillment, and other general shopkeeping.

Customer Service:

• Greeting customers in a friendly helpful manner and staying alert and available at all times on the floor during their visit.

• Proficient using retail Point of Sales system (SquareUp)

• Provide educational information about candles to customers.

• Leading workshops- this requires comfortably talking in front of small and larger groups of guests, serving multiple tables at once, and providing a positive & fun experience for customers.

Shop & Product:

• Maintaining/Cleaning shop

• Pricing & inputting new inventory

• Restocking displays

• Labeling candles

• Quality control for newly made candles, and reporting any issues to manager.
   

Pay starts at $16/hr and can increase with experience. Experience in retail and/or restaurant service is valued, but not required.
